Each part is rated on one scale for every smartwatch and band, from reviewers' accuracy tests and measured battery life where they exist, what reviewers found, specs and owner reports. It rates the product itself, not how good it is for the price.

Pros

  • Heart rate very close to a chest strap
  • GPS route close to a Garmin
  • Very fast and smooth
  • Attractive, well-made
  • GPS very close to a top Garmin
  • Distinctive design
  • More useful Gemini

Cons

  • Battery no better than the Watch8 on the 44mm
  • Slow charging
  • ECG, blood pressure and sleep apnea need a Samsung phone
  • Heart rate unreliable in intervals and dropped out for minutes
  • Battery 24-30 h, behind rivals
  • Minor hardware update
  • Battery only average
  • NotebookcheckSep 2026

A modest upgrade led by a much faster Snapdragon chip; heart rate was identical to a Polar H10 at rest and about 1.5% off on rides, and its route matched a Garmin Venu 2 well, but battery and charging disappoint.

  • WareableAug 2026

A small step on a very good watch: GPS landed within 20 m of a multi-band Garmin Fenix 8 Pro and steady runs matched a Garmin chest strap, but heart rate dropped out on one run and missed most of an interval session; 24-30 h battery trails the Pixel Watch.

  • FoneArenaAug 2026

Indian review calling it one of the most capable Wear OS watches thanks to the new Snapdragon chip, with quick, steady GPS and about 1.5 days per charge with always-on off; body composition differed slightly from a smart scale.

  • Business TodaySep 2026

Indian review of the 40mm: slim, bright in direct sun and quick, with standout sleep tracking; a solid buy at Rs 37,999 but battery and a 2.5-hour charge hold it back. No side-by-side accuracy test.
