Each part is rated on one scale for every smartwatch and band, from reviewers' accuracy tests and measured battery life where they exist, what reviewers found, specs and owner reports. It rates the product itself, not how good it is for the price.

Pros

  • Bigger, easier-to-read screen
  • Plays music and podcasts through its speaker
  • Charges faster
  • Up to 2,000 nits and better viewing angles
  • Quicker S10 chip
  • Sleep apnea alerts
  • Fast charging

Cons

  • Heart rate about 5.7% off a Polar H10 on runs
  • Distance about 2.9% off a Stryd footpod
  • Still only about a day of battery
  • Battery runs down fast with long GPS workouts or on cellular alone
  • Little change from the Series 9
  • No Android support
  • Rated only about 18 h of battery
  • Expert ReviewsOct 2024

Excellent smartwatch let down by one-day battery; over about 10 km of running its heart rate varied 5.7% from a Polar H10 chest strap and distance 2.9% from a footpod, worse than the Series 9 and Ultra 2.

  • nextpitNov 2024

Probably the best smartwatch for iPhone owners who care about health; no side-by-side accuracy test, the reviewer just found heart rate and GPS dependable.

  • Garage Gym Reviews

A very good smartwatch with small upgrades over the Series 9, best as an extension of an iPhone; no accuracy figures given.
