Titanium and sapphire; thick, cheap-feeling strap

Each part is rated on one scale for every smartwatch and band, from reviewers' accuracy tests and measured battery life where they exist, what reviewers found, specs and owner reports. It rates the product itself, not how good it is for the price.

Pros

  • Excellent steady-run heart rate versus two chest straps
  • Distance within 0.13% on a measured course
  • Titanium and sapphire build
  • Offline maps, Zepp Coach plans and syncing to TrainingPeaks/Runna
  • Torch, triathlon and HYROX modes
  • Heart rate in line with a chest strap
  • GPS close to two premium reference watches, even near tall buildings

Cons

  • Heart rate weak on the bike and in intervals
  • GPS behind the best dual-band rivals in the city
  • On-watch re-routing failed in testing
  • Cheap-looking strap, small screen for the case
  • Software still trails Garmin; overpriced at launch
  • Thick and uncomfortable on the wrist
  • Offline maps stutter when panning and zooming
  • the5krunnerMay 2026

Measured against Polar Sense and Garmin HRM 600 straps: steady-run heart rate within 1 bpm on average, but about 6 bpm low and erratic on the bike; GPS scored 73% on a hard 10-mile course (Huawei GT Runner 2: 90%) yet nailed a 7.8 km distance test. Good, but wait for a discount.

  • TechRadarJun 2026

Over six weeks heart rate matched a chest-strap monitor and GPS stayed within 1-2% of a Garmin Tactix 8 and Huawei Watch Ultimate 2; a real Garmin alternative for road runners, if a bulky one.

  • The Run TestersSep 2026

Two runners found heart rate close to a chest strap for steady runs and GPS in line with other watches after one shaky early run; capable and well priced, but less polished than Garmin, Coros or Apple.
