For the starting version. Each part is measured the same way for every laptop (processor and graphics from benchmark results) and moves up or down with what reviewers praise or criticise.

Pros

  • excellent build quality
  • fast processor that barely slows on battery
  • bright, accurate OLED touchscreen
  • long battery life
  • very quiet in daily use
  • two M.2 SSD slots
  • premium design

Cons

  • RAM soldered
  • strong PWM flicker on the OLED
  • few ports and no card reader
  • weak graphics on this processor
  • shallow keyboard, numpad dropped
  • high price
  • heavier than rivals
  • NotebookcheckApr 2026

Tested 16-inch, Core Ultra 7 356H, 32GB/512GB: a well-built, quiet all-rounder with a bright, accurate OLED and long battery life, but pricey, and its iGPU is too slow for games (pick the X7 version for that).

  • TechRadarApr 2026

Tested 16-inch, Core Ultra X7 358H, 32GB/1TB: ticks every box for a premium laptop with a standout screen and strong performance, but it is not light, has few ports and costs a lot.

  • Tom's GuideJan 2026

Tested 16-inch, Core Ultra X7 358H, 32GB/1TB: one of the finest Windows laptops around, with strong Panther Lake speed, a very accurate OLED and over 15 hours in the web-surfing test.

  • t2 Online (The Telegraph India)Apr 2026

Tested in India (Core Ultra X7 358H, 32GB/1TB, from Rs 2,14,990): among the best Windows laptops for office workers - thin, light, long-lasting (15-18 h of office use) and able to run some games unplugged.
