Pros

  • Superb, accurate OLED screen that is bright for HDR
  • Lasts a long time away from the charger
  • Speed stays steady under load
  • Firmer keyboard than before
  • USB4, Wi-Fi 7 and a spare SSD slot
  • Rich, wide-colour OLED panel
  • Fast Intel H-series chip with fans that stay fairly calm

Cons

  • Memory cannot be upgraded
  • Fans are noisy when pushed
  • Screen flickers (PWM) at lower brightness
  • Thin-sounding speakers
  • RAM is soldered
  • Glossy panel needs high brightness in bright rooms
  • RTX 5050 version not sold everywhere
  • NotebookcheckApr 2025

Tested the 14-inch AMD version (Ryzen AI 7 350, 32 GB, 1 TB, 2.8K OLED; not the Intel version sold in India): a fairly priced media and creator laptop whose screen and battery stand out.

  • AdwaitXSep 2025

Covers the 16-inch Core Ultra 9 285H version: one of the most balanced 16-inch laptops of 2025; performance figures are borrowed from other tests, not measured.

  • Just Josh (via bestlaptop.deals)

Summary of the 16-inch Intel version (listed as Core Ultra 7 255H + RTX 5050): good at everything without being the best at any one thing.
