For the starting version. Each part is measured the same way for every laptop (processor and graphics from benchmark results) and moves up or down with what reviewers praise or criticise.

Pros

  • Sturdy, light metal body
  • Sharp OLED with near-instant response
  • Fast single-core speed and snappy daily use
  • Fast Wi-Fi 7
  • Stable keyboard deck
  • Swappable M.2 SSD
  • Premium, stiff ceramic-aluminium build

Cons

  • Multi-core speed falls under sustained load
  • Not as bright as rivals in SDR
  • Screen flickers (PWM) unless ASUS's option is used
  • Shallow keys, bluish backlight
  • Noisy touchpad click
  • No SD reader; reflective screen outdoors
  • Shallow keyboard
  • NotebookcheckSep 2024

Tested Core Ultra 7 258V / 32 GB / 1 TB with the non-touch 120 Hz OLED: a very good everyday ultrabook that shows off Intel's Lunar Lake, though it loses some multi-core speed under long loads.

  • UltrabookreviewDec 2024

Tested Core Ultra 7 258V / 32 GB / 1 TB with the 120 Hz touch OLED: a polished, thin daily laptop with excellent battery and good integrated graphics, but costly next to the regular Zenbook 14 and not built for heavy multi-core work.

  • 91mobiles

Tested Core Ultra 7 258V / 32 GB / 1 TB (Scandinavian White): a premium ultrabook whose screen, keyboard and battery stand out; fine for daily multitasking but not for serious gaming or GPU-heavy creative work.

  • MySmartPrice

Tested Core Ultra 7 258V / 32 GB / 1 TB touch version at Rs 1,49,990: an excellent work laptop with top battery life and screen, but worth buying nearer Rs 1.2 lakh; Snapdragon laptops give similar battery for less.

  • SmartprixDec 2024

Tested Core Ultra 7 258V / 32 GB / 1 TB touch (grey): a superb productivity laptop with the best battery life the reviewer had on Windows, but pricier than Ryzen or Snapdragon Vivobooks and weak for games.

  • CGMagazineOct 2024

Tested Core Ultra 7 (200V) / 32 GB / 1 TB with 3K 120 Hz OLED (US$1,399): one of the best Windows ultrabooks the editor had used, if the price is acceptable.
