For the starting version. Each part is measured the same way for every laptop (processor and graphics from benchmark results) and moves up or down with what reviewers praise or criticise.

Pros

  • Runs most current games at 1080p on high settings
  • Tasteful design
  • Decent keyboard and touchpad
  • HDMI 2.1 and USB-C with DisplayPort
  • Strong gaming for the money
  • Low price on sale
  • 144 Hz screen

Cons

  • Dim screen with weak colours, poor outdoors
  • Slow Wi-Fi in testing
  • USB ports only 5 Gbps, 1 Gbps LAN
  • Plastic body flexes and rattles a little
  • SSD slows down under long loads
  • Dim screen
  • All-plastic build
  • NotebookcheckFeb 2024

Tested 15-fa1057ng (Core i5-13500H, RTX 4050 at 75 W): a proper mid-range gamer that runs most games well at 1080p; the dim, pale screen is its biggest weakness.

  • PCWorldOct 2024

Tested 2024 model with Core i7-12650H and RTX 4050: a great budget gaming machine, but not much good for anything else.

  • LaptopMedia

AMD 15-fb2000 version (tested chip not stated): steady gaming thanks to good graphics cooling, but the processor runs very hot.
