For the starting version. Each part is measured the same way for every laptop (processor and graphics from benchmark results) and moves up or down with what reviewers praise or criticise.

Pros

  • Sturdy aluminium body that is compact and light
  • About 12 h of video playback from a 56 Wh battery
  • Very quiet fans and a cool keyboard under load
  • Two Thunderbolt 4 plus two USB-A ports and HDMI
  • Excellent keyboard and glass touchpad; good speakers
  • Memory upgradable in two slots; flicker-free screen

Cons

  • Standard screen shows only about half of sRGB colours
  • Just one SSD slot
  • Many useful extras (better screens, SIM, smart card) cost more
  • LaptopMediaOct 2024

Tested with Core Ultra 7 155H (not one of the U-chip India versions): a well-built, quiet and long-lasting office laptop with a good keyboard and Thunderbolt ports, let down only by a pale standard screen and single SSD slot.
