For the starting version. Each part is measured the same way for every laptop (processor and graphics from benchmark results) and moves up or down with what reviewers praise or criticise.

Pros

  • Solid build for the money
  • Battery lasts well for an Alienware
  • Smaller, lighter charger
  • Full sRGB colour and a numpad
  • Nearly 10 hours in the battery test
  • Good-looking chassis
  • Colourful screen

Cons

  • Slow pixel response leaves visible ghosting
  • CPU gets very hot under load
  • No Thunderbolt, G-Sync or RGB keys
  • Only a 1 MP webcam
  • Power-limited RTX 5060 holds games back
  • Slow SSD
  • White-only backlight and a keyboard the reviewer typed slower on
  • NotebookcheckAug 2025

Tested US Core 7 240H + 80 W RTX 5060: a slimmer, cheaper cut-down 16X Aurora that suits 1080p-style gaming with DLSS, but runs out of breath at native 1600p.

  • Tom's HardwareAug 2025

Tested US Core 7 240H + 80 W RTX 5060, 32 GB at $1,500: built for long battery life more than frame rates; the reviewer would only push it at a lower price.

  • PCWorldAug 2025

Tested US Core 7 240H + RTX 5060, 32 GB at $1,499: well made and games fine, but the dim screen and older CPU make it feel like a budget laptop at a mid-range price.
