Score breakdown
Good resting HR and sleep; deep sleep, HRV less reliable

About a week measured
Workout HR erratic, phone GPS only, missed gym sessions
Tiny 12 g pebble, very comfortable, 5 ATM
Each part is rated on one scale for every smartwatch and band, from reviewers' accuracy tests and measured battery life where they exist, what reviewers found, specs and owner reports. It rates the product itself, not how good it is for the price.
Pros
- Wrist heart rate close to an ECG chest strap on average in daily use
- Worn on the upper arm with a sleeve, interval-run heart rate matched the strap almost exactly
- Sleep and recovery numbers looked steady and sensible
- Extremely comfortable and small
- Sleep data looked consistent
- Battery lasted about six days with a warning a day ahead
- Outdoor walk and run numbers close to a Garmin watch (using the phone's GPS)
Cons
- On a treadmill interval session the wrist reading jumped between two wrong values
- Stored heart-rate data gets sparse during wrist workouts, so short hard efforts can be missed
- Cannot broadcast heart rate to bike computers or other watches
- One open-water swim was not tracked properly
- Heart rate overshot the Garmin early in runs and badly on one long session
- Run distance far off without the phone's GPS, improving only slowly
- The chatty AI coaching will annoy some people

Checked against an ECG chest strap: everyday wrist heart rate averaged within about 2 bpm, but during hard sport on the wrist it locked onto wrong readings; fine for sleep and recovery, not for serious training.

Expert ReviewsJul 2026
Against a Garmin Forerunner 970, runs read 20-30 bpm high at times and distance came out well short even after weeks of calibration; lovely to wear and good for sleep, weak for running.
-
Tom's GuideMay 2026
On a walk and a short run with the phone along, heart rate, pace and distance tracked about as well as a Garmin Forerunner 70; a comfortable, distraction-free tracker that lasts a week.

PhoneArenaJun 2026
Worn next to an Apple Watch Series 11: wake times and steps agreed, but deep sleep came out about three times longer and HRV differed; a good lifestyle tracker rather than a workout tracker.
