Score breakdown
Run HR within 1-3 bpm of Garmin; no ECG or temperature
Full Wear OS with Assistant; Android only, plain app
2-4 days measured; Wear OS 5 drain reports
Sharp 1,000-nit AMOLED, readable in sun
Dual-band GPS close to Garmin; track mode faults
Light aluminium, IP68; one large size
Each part is rated on one scale for every smartwatch and band, from reviewers' accuracy tests and measured battery life where they exist, what reviewers found, specs and owner reports. It rates the product itself, not how good it is for the price.
Pros
- Heart rate on runs nearly matched the Garmin, a big step up from the Watch 2
- Road GPS distance close to the Garmin
- Plenty of post-run data: training effect, VO2 max, recovery
- Light and comfortable for such a big screen
- About three days a charge in real use (two with always-on screen) and fast charging
- Quick, smooth Snapdragon performance
- Dual-band GPS and workout heart rate tracked well against a Garmin
Cons
- Lap and pace alerts went wrong on a running track
- Calorie figures well below Garmin's
- OHealth app can't export GPX/TCX and long-term trends are basic
- No crown, so swiping through workout screens with sweaty fingers is awkward
- No ECG, skin temperature or period tracking
- No sapphire glass or military toughness rating unlike the Watch 2
- No easy backup when switching phones

Android Central (fitness test)Jul 2024
Run next to a Garmin Forerunner 965 (no chest strap), heart-rate averages came within 1-2 bpm and road distance within a few hundredths of a mile; a capable budget running watch, let down on the track and by a thin app.
-
Android CentralJul 2024
One of the best cheap Android watches: keeps the Watch 2's speed, screen and multi-day battery in a lighter body; GPS tracked a Forerunner 965 closely and sleep data was close to an Ultrahuman ring, but health features are thinner.
-
WareableAug 2024
More comfortable than the Watch 2 and accurate in testing: GPS stayed within about 25-30 m of a Garmin Epix Pro over 10 miles and heart rate ran 1-3 bpm low against a Whoop and Garmin; good, but feels plain.
-
GSMArenaJul 2024
The pick of OnePlus's two 2024 watches for most people: same core as the Watch 2, lighter and cheaper, about three days a charge; no accuracy comparison was done.
-
91mobilesAug 2024
A dependable Wear OS watch for Android users under Rs 20,000: light, bright, long-lasting and believable step and sleep data; heart rate and GPS were not checked against another device.
-
MySmartPriceJul 2024
Strong value at its launch price, arguably better than the dearer Watch 2 for most; GPS and sleep looked accurate by feel, with steps matching a manual count, but no device-to-device tests.
Reported by many owners
Common complaints
- Battery life dropped sharply for many owners after the Wear OS 5 update rolled out in India (Dec 2025), in some cases to under a day; OnePlus had not commented
