What reviewers say

Good

  • Anti-glare glass makes the bright screen easier to see
  • Tougher titanium build and a flat screen
  • Battery life near the top of its class
  • S Pen, DeX and plenty of AI tools
  • Versatile cameras with a more useful zoom lens
  • Titanium and Gorilla Armor build, IP68
  • Very bright screen that copes well with reflections

Not so good

  • Some display quirks at launch
  • Charging slower than Chinese rivals and fussy about chargers
  • Zoom quality uneven just below 10x
  • Slows down noticeably under long heavy load
  • Colour accuracy behind the S23 Ultra
  • 3x camera weak when zooming further
  • Thin speaker bass; no microSD or headphone jack
  • GSMArena92/100Feb 2024

Samsung's most complete phone of its year despite a few screen quirks and middling charging.

  • Notebookcheck91/100Mar 2024

Top hardware where the AI tools actually help day to day (global Snapdragon unit).

  • 91mobiles85/100

An incremental step over the S23 Ultra but the most rounded phone available when reviewed, ideal for power users who want the S Pen.

  • TechRadar90/100Jun 2024

A top phone with better battery, speed and cameras than before, let down by cluttered software and the price.
