What reviewers say
Good
- Slimmer and lighter body
- Privacy Display is a useful new trick
- Battery lasts longer than before from the same capacity
- Much quicker charging
- Better speakers
- S Pen still unique
- Privacy Display can turn on automatically for chosen apps
Not so good
- Only IP68 while some rivals have IP69
- Battery size trails Chinese rivals
- Screen lacks 10-bit, high-frequency PWM and Dolby Vision
- Camera hardware behind the best camera phones
- Throttles hard under long heavy loads
- Very expensive
- No built-in app locker
-
GSMArenaMar 2026
Balanced phone without big flaws but a dull step up; last year's S25 Ultra is still a sensible cheaper buy.
-
Digit87/100Mar 2026
The most complete flagship package right now, though the price is steep.
-
Editor's Choice; called the best Android phone so far thanks to the Privacy Display and agent-style AI.
-
Samsung's best Galaxy S phone yet, but mostly a refinement of the S25 Ultra.
-
Android AuthorityRecommended
A well-done refinement with top speed and long support, though it lacks fresh ideas.
-
Smartprix83/100Mar 2026
The smartest Android phone around, but Samsung now leans on software rather than top hardware.
-
Editors' Choice; the most complete Android phone the reviewer used this year if you want one device for everything.
-
MySmartPrice (lab test)90/100Mar 2026
Lab tests rate it a standout for screen, consistent cameras and practical AI.
What owners say
Owners like
- Many owners report no display problems and long battery life (a full day or more)
- Fast and smooth day to day
Common complaints
- Some owners report fuzzy text, eye strain or headaches linked to the new display, even with Privacy Display off
- Screen looks dimmer than the S25 Ultra to some users
- A red patch or tint on bright screens after 3-4 months; Samsung blamed Privacy Display software and promised an update
- Full 25W wireless charging hard to reach without Samsung's own magnetic charger and case
- Isolated reports of heating, lag and fast battery drain on individual units
