Beautifully made and very portable, but battery, camera and sound are only average for such a pricey phone; Pro models suit power users better.

A style-first iPhone: superb slim body and ProMotion screen, but you give up battery stamina and camera range for the money.
-
GSMArena80/100Sep 2025
An impressive feat of engineering that is not for everyone; buyers not set on thinness are better off with the regular iPhone 17.
-
Tom's Guide70/100Sep 2025
Thin, tough and fast, worth it if portability matters most, though the iPhone 17 Pro gives more for a little extra.
