What reviewers say

Good

  • Compact, grippy body with IP68/IP69
  • Very thin bezels and bright, punchy screen
  • Fast and stays cool even in long gaming or 4K recording
  • Smooth ColorOS 17
  • Excellent battery life (about 8.5 h screen-on)
  • Outstanding cameras
  • Smooth everyday performance

Not so good

  • Speakers could be louder
  • AI scene feature is unreliable
  • Slow photo processing
  • Ultrawide warps edges; night shots over-sharpened
  • Telephoto softens in low light; selfie portraits look artificial
  • Lots of bloatware
  • Expensive
  • Beebom95/100Oct 2026

Close to a complete flagship in a pocketable size; most buyers won't miss the Pro Max.

  • TechRadar80/100Oct 2026

An excellent camera-led flagship that feels Pro-grade; held back by its price and preinstalled junk apps.

  • Tech AdvisorRecommendedOct 2026

Gives most of the Pro Max experience for much less, with cameras that beat most rivals.

  • Frandroid90/100Oct 2026
