For the starting version. Each part is measured the same way for every laptop (processor and graphics from benchmark results) and moves up or down with what reviewers praise or criticise.

Pros

  • Sharp 2.2K screen with full colour range on that version
  • Compact, light and well built
  • Strong multi-core speed
  • Fast Wi-Fi 6E
  • 1080p webcam with IR face login
  • Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 for docking
  • Faster single-core speed than the AMD version

Cons

  • Shallower keyboard than the previous generation
  • No USB4 on AMD
  • Not bright enough for outdoor use
  • Lid picks up fingerprints
  • Performance drops quickly under long loads
  • Dull, narrow-colour 1200p screen with slow response
  • Only short 2242 SSDs fit
  • NotebookcheckAug 2023

Tested Ryzen 7 7730U, 24 GB, 2.2K 16:10 screen (a version not seen in India): a cheap, compact office laptop with solid speed and a better screen, but a flatter keyboard than before.

  • NotebookcheckOct 2023

Tested Core i7-1355U, 16 GB, 512 GB, 1920x1200 IPS (the screen India gets): Thunderbolt docking and quick single-core speed, but the chip can't hold its boost and the basic screen covers only ~63% sRGB.

  • Laptop MagDec 2023

Tested Core i7-1355U, 16 GB, 512 GB, 1200p touch screen: a well-built, budget-friendly business laptop that handles mixed work well; battery life under 8 hours is the let-down.

  • TechRadarMar 2025

Tested Core i7-1355U, 16 GB, 512 GB, 57 Wh battery: a capable, professional-feeling choice for businesses on a budget, held back by battery life and a limited-colour screen.
