Pros

  • Much better webcam than before
  • Silent, fanless design

Cons

  • Stuck on Wi-Fi 6E and 60Hz
  • Two USB-C ports only, no card slot
  • Small 30W charger
  • No upgrades and pricey extra storage
  • 256GB base storage fills quickly
  • 60Hz screen, no ProMotion
  • Throttles after 25-30 minutes of sustained load
  • NotebookcheckApr 2025

Tested base model (8-core GPU, 16GB/256GB): one of the best everyday laptops, fast and silent, though rivals now beat it on a few extras.

  • DigitApr 2025

Tested the Rs 99,900 base model (16GB/256GB): arguably the best-value MacBook Apple has made; 15.5-17.5 hours of light use per charge, but it slows down after about half an hour of heavy load.

  • Tom's GuideMar 2025

Tested 10-core CPU / 8-core GPU, 16GB/256GB: called the best laptop overall, with 14h51m in its Wi-Fi web-surfing test at 150 nits.

  • TechRadarMar 2025

Tested the base model (10-core CPU, 8-core GPU, 16GB/256GB, Sky Blue): the reviewer's favourite laptop, about 14h52m in TechRadar's web-browsing test and about 8 hours of heavy mixed use.
