For the starting version. Each part is measured the same way for every laptop (processor and graphics from benchmark results) and moves up or down with what reviewers praise or criticise.

Pros

  • Long battery life for a gaming laptop
  • RAM in two slots, up to 64 GB
  • Cooling keeps the GPU cool and fast
  • Bright, colourful 165 Hz screen with little ghosting
  • Plain, tidy looks
  • Lasted longer than rivals in a gaming battery test
  • RTX 5070 handles 1080p and many games at WQHD

Cons

  • Ageing Zen 4 processor for the money
  • Costly for an RTX 5050
  • Specs differ from country to country
  • 16 GB and RTX 5050 may age within a few years
  • Older Zen 4 processor can limit games
  • No USB4 or Wi-Fi 7
  • Rivals at a similar price offer an RTX 5070 Ti
  • Notebookcheck2025

Tested FA608UP (Ryzen 7 260, RTX 5070 115 W, 2.5K 165 Hz): fast enough, but the older Zen 4 chip and the EUR 2,199 European price make it a gamble; long battery life noted.

  • PC GamerSep 2026

Tested the 2026 A16 (Ryzen 7 260, RTX 5050 at 115 W, 16 GB, 1 TB): a well-rounded mid-range gaming laptop whose cooling lets the GPU run at full speed; only the price feels high for an RTX 5050.

  • Notebookcheck (news review)Sep 2025

Short take on the FA608UP (RTX 5070, Zen 4, WQHD): a good gaming laptop, but costly for what it offers, with the older CPU sometimes holding the GPU back.

  • TechRadarAug 2025

Tested RTX 5050 version (Ryzen 7 260): fast and smartly designed for the money, but the fans are distractingly loud under load; 12 h 18 min in a movie loop, about 2 h gaming.

  • Times of IndiaSep 2025

Indian review (Rs 1,69,990 version): a dependable everyday gaming machine with a decent screen, effective cooling and sturdy build, for gamers who don't want ultra-premium prices.

  • Root NationOct 2025

Tested FA608UH (RTX 5050): among the best budget gaming laptops the reviewer has used, with good screen, speed, body and battery; missing USB4 is the main gap.

  • Creative BloqNov 2025

Handles creative work well with plenty of storage and good networking, but costs more than similar machines.

  • PC GamerJan 2026

Plays new games with ease, but the processor gets hot, the laptop is heavy and fairly loud, and it costs a little too much.

  • Profesional ReviewDec 2025

Spanish review of the FA608UM (RTX 5060); only its scores were readable: strongest on portability and price, weakest on display.

  • Laptop MediaNov 2025

Well-balanced FA608 that feels more upmarket than the TUF name, with a good AMD chip, well-tuned GPU and up to 14 hours of battery in their test.
