Pros

  • Scar 16-level performance for less money
  • Very good 1440p gaming with RTX 5080

Cons

  • Keyboard layout
  • No miniLED option like the Scar
  • Value depends on the deal
  • Ultrabook ReviewAug 2025

Tested G615LW (Ultra 9 275HX, RTX 5080): a competitive 16-inch performance laptop that matches the dearer Scar 16 in speed; value depends on price, and only matte IPS screens are offered.

  • ITC.uaDec 2025

Tested G615JHR (Core i5-13450HX, RTX 5050); only scores were readable: build and ergonomics rated highly, price and screen lower.

  • Notebookcheck2025

Tested an RTX 5080 version: well suited to 1440p gaming; Notebookcheck's verdict news adds that the faster Ryzen 9 9955HX is only paired with the RTX 5070 Ti.
