For the starting version. Each part is measured the same way for every laptop (processor and graphics from benchmark results) and moves up or down with what reviewers praise or criticise.

Pros

  • Lasts a very long time on a charge
  • Processor is quick for its price
  • Stays cool and quiet
  • Pleasant keyboard with number pad
  • Wi-Fi 7 and an SD slot
  • Spare SSD slot for upgrades
  • Very long battery life

Cons

  • Washed-out colours on the IPS screen
  • Graphics too weak for games
  • Plasticky touchpad
  • No keyboard light on the tested unit
  • Only a 720p webcam
  • Dull, dim display
  • Tinny sound
  • NotebookcheckAug 2025

Tested 15.3-inch IPS touch, 16 GB / 256 GB (Europe): a fine everyday work and study laptop for the money that runs a long time and stays cool, held back by a cheap-looking screen, weak graphics and a so-so touchpad.

  • PCWorldJun 2025

Tested 15.3-inch IPS touch, 16 GB / 256 GB at $749: runs 16+ hours and handles office work smoothly, but the dim screen, thin speakers and slow graphics make it worth buying mainly on discount.

  • Tom's GuideJul 2025

Tested 15.3-inch IPS touch, 16 GB RAM: a budget laptop with outstanding battery life and a good keyboard, best for students and light users, especially on sale.

  • TechRadar NetherlandsJan 2026

Tested 15.1-inch 2.5K OLED, 16 GB / 512 GB (Europe, EUR 799): not exciting, but smooth, long-lasting and fairly priced, and the OLED screen is excellent for the money.
