For the starting version. Each part is measured the same way for every laptop (processor and graphics from benchmark results) and moves up or down with what reviewers praise or criticise.

Pros

  • Smooth gaming and app performance for the price
  • Clearly faster than the older RTX 3060 G5 KE
  • Fast SSD with a spare M.2 slot
  • No screen flicker (PWM), good viewing angles
  • Low price for RTX 4060 graphics
  • Two M.2 SSD slots
  • Good keyboard

Cons

  • Dim screen with weak contrast and colours
  • Charger can be overloaded under full load
  • SSD slows down when hot
  • High latencies, poor for live audio/video work
  • No Thunderbolt and no MUX switch
  • Blurry 720p webcam
  • CPU overheats while gaming
  • NotebookcheckOct 2023

A cheap RTX 4060 gaming laptop that plays games smoothly, but with a dim, narrow-colour screen and a charger that can be pushed past its limit (tested: G5 KF, Core i5-12500H, RTX 4060 75 W, 16 GB DDR4-3200, 512 GB, 144 Hz Chi Mei panel).

  • NotebookcheckOct 2024

Good value with a nice keyboard and an accurate screen, but the cooling still cannot keep up: the CPU runs at 100 C while gaming and the fans get loud (tested: 2024 G5 KF5, Core i7-13620H, RTX 4060, 16 GB DDR5-4800, 1 TB, 360 Hz Sharp panel - not an India version).

  • Club386May 2023

Makes capable 1080p gaming affordable with a sober, solid design; the price for that is loud fans and a small SSD (tested: G5 KF, Core i5-12500H, RTX 4060 60-75 W, 16 GB DDR4, 512 GB; Club386 Recommended).

  • 91mobilesJul 2024

One of the best-value gaming laptops in India at about Rs 65,000, with strong RTX 4050 results; battery life and colour accuracy are the weak spots (tested: G5 MF, Core i5-12500H, RTX 4050, 16 GB DDR4; date from Notebookcheck's index).
