For the starting version. Each part is measured the same way for every laptop (processor and graphics from benchmark results) and moves up or down with what reviewers praise or criticise.

Pros

  • Works well in all its screen modes
  • Two good OLED screens with accurate colours
  • Very comfortable keyboard and touchpad
  • Faster processor and graphics than before
  • Pen and sleeve in the box
  • Wi-Fi 7
  • Strong, premium metal body

Cons

  • Memory is fixed and parts are hard to reach
  • Thicker and heavier than regular 14-inch laptops
  • Screen flickers (PWM) at lower brightness
  • No card reader
  • Screens stacked on top of each other are less handy than side by side
  • Hot and loud in Performance mode
  • Big price jump over a single-screen laptop
  • Still the dual-screen laptop with almost no rivals: the new Intel chip is about 20% faster and battery life is better than last year, but it is heavier and thicker than normal 14-inch laptops, the memory is fixed and repairs are hard (tested: Core Ultra 9 285H, 32 GB, 1 TB, two 1920x1200 60 Hz OLEDs).

  • Probably the best two-screen laptop you can carry today, with a solid metal body, great keyboard and a small 65 W charger, though it runs hot and loud when pushed and costs a lot more than a normal Zenbook 14 (tested: Core Ultra 9 285H, 32 GB, 1 TB, two 2880x1800 120 Hz OLEDs).

  • Laptop MagFeb 2025

Fast, with lovely OLED screens and loud speakers, and the two screens work together smoothly; battery life is almost two hours shorter than the 2024 model (tested: US unit, Core Ultra 9 285H, 32 GB, 1 TB, two 2880x1800 120 Hz OLEDs).

  • The two-screen idea is no longer a gimmick and is useful for power users and creators, but battery life is short with both screens on and it is heavier than an ultrabook (tested in India: Core Ultra 9 285H, 32 GB, two 3K 120 Hz OLEDs).

  • Expensive, and meant for power users and people who juggle many windows (tested version not stated; verdict from Notebookcheck's summary, the 91mobiles page could not be opened).

Other
CoolingQuiet and cool in the Standard mode (about 35 dBA in Ultrabook Review's test); in Performance mode it gets loud (about 45 dBA) and the chip runs in the high 80s °C. Long heavy loads are held back by low power limits (Notebookcheck), and it slows down a lot on battery (Business Today).
