For the starting version. Each part is measured the same way for every laptop (processor and graphics from benchmark results) and moves up or down with what reviewers praise or criticise.

Pros

  • Nearly everything can be swapped: RAM, two SSD slots, Wi-Fi card, battery
  • Enough speed for office work, quick SSD
  • Comfortable backlit keyboard
  • Matte flicker-free screen
  • Ethernet plus fast Wi-Fi 6E
  • Long warranty on the tested market

Cons

  • Washed-out colours (about 59% sRGB)
  • Only 6-7 hours on battery
  • Fan comes on even for light tasks
  • Thin-sounding speakers and a poor webcam
  • Plastic body flexes; cheap-feeling touchpad clicks
  • NotebookcheckFeb 2025

Tested B1403CVA, Core i5-13420H, 16GB single-channel, 512GB, Win 11 Pro (US/EU unit). A no-frills office machine that is easy to service and types well, best paired with an external monitor because its own screen is pale.
