What reviewers say

Good

  • Very low price
  • Four years of updates
  • Fairly bright screen with no PWM
  • Good battery life
  • Sturdy plastic body
  • Fingerprint reader
  • Decent selfie camera

Not so good

  • No NFC or 5G
  • Weak chip, noticeable waits
  • Low 720p resolution, 60 Hz
  • Bluish colours
  • Average main camera, weak video autofocus
  • No charger, flimsy box
  • Dim, reflective HD screen with smearing
  • Notebookcheck68/100Aug 2025

Very cheap Galaxy with a solid body, flicker-free screen and all-day battery, but slow chip, no NFC and a low-res 60 Hz panel.

  • GSMArena64/100Sep 2024

Barely changed from the A05 and unimpressive even by last year's standards; the reviewer points buyers to the A15/A25 or other brands (score via Notebookcheck's list).
