MySmartPrice77/100
Worth it for a big lively AMOLED screen, clean reliable software and long updates, but warms up in games and selfies are weak; rivals give a more balanced package.
-
Digit65/100Nov 2024
A practical but unambitious phone for basic users; the 90 Hz screen, low-light camera and battery fall short of rivals like the Moto G85 and Nord CE4 Lite at this price.
-
A dependable budget phone for casual users with strong battery and long software support; display and low-light camera could be better, and it is not for gamers.

Notebookcheck73/100Jan 2025
Good value for casual users thanks to the bright 90 Hz AMOLED, 25 W charging and six years of updates; performance and low-light photos are weak. Tested the Exynos 1330 version, not the India chip.
-
GSMArena70/100Oct 2024
Budget hardware with some compromises, close to the cheapest Galaxy; tested the Exynos 1330 version (score from Notebookcheck's review list; verdict page text not readable).

PhoneArena52/100Nov 2024
Better screen, video and update promise than the A15 5G, but frequent stutter makes it a poor pick for anyone who wants a smooth phone. US model with the same Dimensity 6300 chip but only 4GB RAM.
What owners say
Owners like
- 8GB/256GB owner finds it a solid daily phone
- Screen and battery considered fine by owners
- High average star rating on Smartprix
Common complaints
- Lag and stutter in daily use; several owners say it feels slower than the A15 or older Samsungs (turning off RAM Plus helps some)
- Fast battery drain on 5G reported in Samsung's India community
- Fingerprint reader failures reported by one user
Samsung's India moderators suggest updating, factory reset and then a service-centre visit for battery-drain complaints.
