Score breakdown
For the starting version. Each part is measured the same way for every laptop (processor and graphics from benchmark results) and moves up or down with what reviewers praise or criticise.
Pros
- Keeps high clock speeds under long loads, so everyday work feels fast
- Comfortable backlit keyboard with a number pad
- Solid assembly and a good spread of ports
- Thin and fairly light for a 15.6-inch laptop
- Runs quietly and handles daily work smoothly
- Plain, tidy styling
- Comfortable to use day to day (ergonomics rated 80%)
Cons
- Runs hot and the fan is audible even for light tasks
- About 5-6 hours away from the charger
- Washed-out screen colours
- No fingerprint or face login; weak touchpad
- Dim panel with one of the narrowest colour ranges the lab had measured
- Still uses two slow USB 2.0 ports
- Charges through a barrel plug, not USB-C

ClubicSep 2023
Tested the French B13M with Core i7-1355U, 16 GB, 512 GB: quick for daily work and nice to type on, but hot, noisy, short on battery and with a dull screen; only worth it once discounted.
-
GeekneticJul 2023
Tested the Spanish B13M with Core i7-1355U, 16 GB, 1 TB: a slim, quiet everyday 15-inch for office work, with clear savings made on the screen and ports.
-
CNETDec 2023
US B13M (version not stated): screen and speakers let it down, so it suits a desk with an external monitor and speakers more than use on the go.

Charles TechMar 2023
French B13M-255FR: rated about average overall; typing comfort scored best, portability scored lowest.
