For the starting version. Each part is measured the same way for every laptop (processor and graphics from benchmark results) and moves up or down with what reviewers praise or criticise.

Pros

  • Light and compact for a 15.6-inch gamer (about 2 kg)
  • Efficient low-power graphics
  • Very fast Wi-Fi
  • Solid build, 180-degree hinge
  • Good keyboard
  • No screen flicker
  • Eye-catching see-through design

Cons

  • Dim screen with weak colours
  • Poor webcam
  • No Thunderbolt, card reader or second SSD slot
  • Small 53.5 Wh battery
  • Gets hot (CPU about 94 C, warm keyboard centre)
  • Slower than RTX 4050 laptops with higher power limits
  • Low office benchmark results
  • NotebookcheckApr 2023

Tested A12VF (Core i7-12650H, RTX 4060 at 45 W, 16GB, 1TB): a light, efficient gaming laptop that plays current games smoothly but is not built for top frame rates.

  • DigitJul 2023

Tested India A12VE (Core i7-12650H, RTX 4050, 16GB/512GB) at Rs 99,990: one of the cheapest ways to get an RTX 4050, which beats an RTX 3060 in many real games, but it runs hot.

  • Tom's GuideFeb 2024

Tested US A13VE (Core i7-13620H, RTX 4050): good gaming for a low price, aimed at first-time PC gamers; screen and heat are the weak spots.

  • LaptopMedia

Tested A12V with a 45 W RTX 4050: a fair buy in its class with good gaming, though well behind 85 W RTX 4050 laptops such as the Katana 15.
