  • excellent keyboard
  • bright, rich OLED with HDR
  • 7 h 3 min web surfing battery
  • superb, accurate 165Hz OLED
  • top RTX 5060 performance, GPU stays cool
  • plain, smart design

Cons

  • expensive upgrades
  • bottom speakers sound harsh and thin
  • about 3 h battery
  • CPU runs hot under long loads
  • very reflective glossy screen
  • no fingerprint or face login
  • black finish collects fingerprints
  • Tom's GuideAug 2026

Tested the Intel 5i Gen 11 (Core Ultra 7 251HX, RTX 5070, OLED): a strong mid-range gamer with a bright OLED and much better battery than older Legions; upgrades are poor value, the RTX 5060 version is the pick.

  • LaptopMediaApr 2026

Tested the AMD 5a 15AGP11 (Ryzen AI 9 465, RTX 5060, OLED): the fastest 15-inch RTX 5060 laptop it had tested, in a discreet body, but battery life away from the plug is weak.

  • NoobFeedApr 2026

Hands-on with the 5a Gen 11 (Ryzen AI 9 465, RTX 5060): a good-value mix of performance, portability and a quiet look, with one of the best keyboards around; no measured tests.
