Pros

  • Low price
  • Body holds up to everyday student use
  • Stable Wi-Fi
  • Smooth for casual browsing
  • Silent fanless design, no screen flicker (PWM)
  • Full-size keyboard with number pad and a roomy touchpad
  • Reliable for light work over 10 days of use

Cons

  • Two-core processor struggles beyond browsing and documents
  • Slow, uneven eMMC storage
  • Dim, washed-out TN screen with poor viewing angles
  • Few ports and a plastic build
  • No keyboard backlight
  • Poor webcam
  • Bulky plastic body
  • NotebookcheckNov 2023

A bare-bones web and documents machine for students; fine for browsing but the dual-core chip, slow eMMC and dim TN screen show their limits quickly (tested: India 15a-na0008TU, Celeron N4500, 4 GB, 128 GB eMMC, Rs 28,999).

  • TechlusiveMay 2023

A dependable budget machine for email, typing, streaming and school work, not for heavy apps or lots of multitasking (tested: Celeron N4500, 4 GB, 128 GB eMMC, India Rs 28,999).

  • Business TodayApr 2023

A good companion for school students doing assignments, online classes and research; pick a Windows laptop for college-level work (tested: Celeron N4500, 4 GB, 128 GB eMMC, HD screen).

  • BusinessWorldJul 2023

A sensible pick for students on a tight budget whose work lives in the browser; anyone needing creative apps should spend on a Core i3 laptop (tested: Celeron N4500, HD screen).
