For the starting version. Each part is measured the same way for every laptop (processor and graphics from benchmark results) and moves up or down with what reviewers praise or criticise.

Pros

  • Much better design than the last model
  • Built-in Arc B390 graphics close to an entry gaming card
  • Very efficient graphics
  • Strong speakers for the size
  • Long battery life
  • Same much-improved design
  • Bright matte IPS screen with good contrast

Cons

  • Screen a bit smaller than the old 14.5-inch model
  • Cannot hold top speed for long
  • Shallow key feel
  • No webcam shutter
  • No microSD slot
  • Built-in graphics slower than older Lunar Lake chips
  • Less efficient than the X7 chip
  • NotebookcheckFeb 2026

The Core Ultra X7 version is a big redesign win: fast built-in graphics, long battery life and a lovely OLED, held back mainly by a shallow keyboard.

  • NotebookcheckFeb 2026

The cheaper Core Ultra 7 355 version (the main India version) is still a fine everyday laptop, but its speed and graphics are ordinary; creators and gamers should pick the X7.

  • Tom's HardwareFeb 2026

Tested both the IPS and OLED versions: a good-looking, light laptop with excellent battery life on the IPS model, but the flat keyboard and high price hold it back.

CoolingReviews: fans stay fairly quiet but can sound high-pitched; the Core Ultra 7 355 version is a little quieter than the X7. Under long heavy loads the X7 loses up to about a quarter of its speed (Notebookcheck). Tom's Hardware found the bottom reaching about 40 C and the keyboard about 33 C in a stress test.
