Pros

  • Low price for a 15-inch Windows laptop
  • Cheap
  • Keyboard and trackpad feel decent
  • Runs very light games
  • Low price for the specs

Cons

  • Dim display
  • Limited connectivity
  • Older Dell Inspiron 3520 and Acer Aspire 3 named as better buys
  • Dim screen that loses colour after waking from sleep (restart fixes it)
  • Loud fan
  • Lots of preinstalled bloatware
  • Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dropped randomly
  • PCMagApr 2025

Fine for basics at a low price, but a dim screen and thin connectivity make rivals better value (US version, about $300; config not confirmed).

  • GamingTrendAug 2026

The bare minimum a laptop needs: fine for office work and light tasks at a low price, but look elsewhere for anything more (US touchscreen version, about $500; CPU/RAM not stated).

  • Which?Jun 2024

Which?'s summary calls it a big, low-cost laptop with the specs most people want at an attractive price; score, battery result and full verdict are members-only (tested Ryzen 5, 8 GB, 512 GB, UK version).
