Cons

- Battery about two days with always-on
- No LTE and fewer smart features
- GPS weaker in dense city centres without dual-band

Android CentralAug 2025
Against a Garmin HRM 200 chest strap and a Forerunner 970 it matched average and max heart rate exactly on a 12-mile run and a hike (lagging only on sudden changes), and GPS distance was within about 30 m; but battery is weak for a Garmin and the price is steep, so it feels like a misfit.

Tom's GuideJul 2025
A sportier Apple Watch Ultra alternative: heart rate generally right next to a Garmin HRM600 chest strap and GPS mostly in line with multi-band watches except among skyscrapers; battery only about two days with always-on.
-
TechRadarAug 2025
Slim, comfortable and packed with Garmin's training tools, with an excellent screen for maps; held back by heavy battery drain with always-on and a less polished interface than Apple's. No accuracy comparison reported.
Reported by many owners
Common complaints
- Early software could drain the battery quickly in some situations; Garmin listed a fix in its August 2025 update
