Score breakdown
Sleep close to Whoop; steady HR good, workout HR patchy
Basic notifications, no replies, sometimes flaky
About 10 days measured
Small AMOLED, cramped and fussy when wet
Phone-GPS only, unreliable runs and rides
Light plastic band, 5 ATM
Each part is rated on one scale for every smartwatch and band, from reviewers' accuracy tests and measured battery life where they exist, what reviewers found, specs and owner reports. It rates the product itself, not how good it is for the price.
Pros
- Steady-effort heart rate closely matched a chest strap
- Sleep and nap timing spot on
- Lasted about the claimed 10 days
- Lots of data free for a cheap band
- Sleep tracking comparable to a Whoop 4.0
- Colour AMOLED screen a big step up
- Health metrics and AFib alerts in a cheap band
Cons
- Heart rate locked onto running cadence early and was poor on outdoor cycling
- Some history and the stress breakdown need Premium
- Cannot pair or broadcast to heart-rate straps
- Touchscreen misbehaves when wet; small screen
- Workout feedback on the band is basic
- Phone-GPS runs were unreliable
- Fuller insights need a subscription

DC RainmakerOct 2022
Against a Garmin chest strap it was within 1-2 bpm on indoor trainer intervals and steady running, but slow to settle, missed some sprints and was wrong on outdoor rides; superb value for daily activity and sleep, not for heart-rate zone training.
-
WareableOct 2022
Sleep data held up next to a Whoop 4.0 and steps were accurate, with decent heart rate at steady pace; a complete little Fitbit for casual fitness and wellness, weaker for training.
-
Live ScienceFeb 2023
Resting heart rate looked right but workout readings were patchy, often wrong in the first minutes and behind an Apple Watch on intervals; a pleasant basic tracker that rivals undercut on price.
-
Android AuthorityMar 2023
No accuracy comparison was run, but sleep and heart rate seemed reliable and the battery ran over a week; the best simple budget tracker for beginners, though not for runners.
-
TechGearLabAug 2025
In their side-by-side tests the heart rate matched their reference fully and sleep was accurate, but activity tracking was inconsistent and the screen hard to see; reasonable, though better trackers exist.
Reported by many owners
Common complaints
- A Fitbit app bug in early 2026 kept turning screen wake back to automatic after each sync, so the screen lit up on every wrist turn and the battery ran down faster; Fitbit's moderators said they were working on a fix
