What reviewers say
Good
- Premium build
- Bright LTPO OLED
- Better battery and charging than S25
- Seven years of Android updates
- Good autofocus selfie camera
- Video extras like LUTs and Horizon Lock
- Light and compact
Not so good
- Barely changed from S25
- Only IP68
- No 10-bit, high-frequency PWM or Dolby Vision
- No 4K120 video
- Awkward night mode
- Charging slower than many rivals
- Slow 25W charging
-
A very small step over the S25 with better battery and charging, but behind rivals on camera hardware, battery tech and charging; mainly for Samsung loyalists (Exynos unit).
-
91mobiles83/100
Well-rounded compact flagship with strong speed, a good screen and long updates; slow charging and average battery keep it from the top (India Exynos unit).
-
Beebom80/100Apr 2026
A polished but safe update: excellent screen, great speakers and strong speed, with only so-so battery and charging (India unit).
-
TechRadarAug 2026
Very capable flagship but worth it mainly on sale (Snapdragon unit, not the India chip; category scores average about 4/5).
-
Strong choice for people who want a premium small phone, with trade-offs in battery, heat and camera versus the Plus and Ultra (Exynos unit).
-
S26 and S26+ finally make sense for buyers who don't want the Ultra (joint review, India units).
