What reviewers say
Good
- Tough metal-and-glass, IP67 body
- Long battery life
- Reliable photos and good video
- Holds its speed well under load
- Good stereo speakers and a microSD slot
- Four OS upgrades promised
- Metal frame with Victus+ glass on both sides, IP67
Not so good
- Slow charging, no charger included
- Fingerprint reader not dependable
- Thick screen borders and a software proximity sensor
- Small upgrade for a high launch price
- Screen flicker (PWM) may bother sensitive eyes
- Slow USB 2.0 and slow fingerprint unlock
- Zoom only usable to about 2x, no RAW
-
A solid all-round phone that was overpriced at launch; easy to recommend once it gets much cheaper.
-
Notebookcheck87/100May 2024
Not cheap, but premium touches and long updates make it a sensible buy (global unit).
-
91mobiles80/100
A dependable pick for buyers who want Samsung's premium feel at mid-range money.
