What reviewers say

Good

  • Compact, premium build
  • Efficient battery (18.7 h PCMark)
  • Handy AI and creator tools
  • Dependable cameras
  • Very bright OLED screen
  • Useful Gemini features
  • More camera tools

Not so good

  • Thick screen borders
  • Slow 30W charging, charger not included
  • Less raw power than Snapdragon/Dimensity flagships
  • Costs $100 more
  • Tensor G6 barely faster
  • Battery life no better (12h45m web test)
  • No real camera quality jump
  • 91mobiles83/100Aug 2026

A polish of last year's phone rather than a big jump, but strong on software, AI, cameras and battery in a compact body.

  • Tom's GuideNot recommendedAug 2026

Capable AI phone with a brighter screen, but small upgrades and a higher price make it poorer value than the Pixel 10.

  • Expert ReviewsRecommendedAug 2026

Strong phone for screen, cameras, wireless charging and AI; speed and battery are where it trails rivals.

  • BGRRecommendedSep 2026

Easy to recommend to anyone not on a recent Pixel, but hard to get excited about; Pixel 10 owners can wait.
