Comfort & fit

Each part is measured the same way for every model (from specs and lab test measurements where they exist) and moves up or down with what reviewers praise or criticise.

Pros

Effective, adjustable ANC for the money
Nearly 10 h per charge with ANC
LDAC, wireless charging and fast pairing
High lab sound score; powerful bass
Airy sound, great with electronic and hip-hop
Adaptive ANC adjusts well
About 9.5 h per charge in testing

Cons

Bulky case that scratches
Many EQ presets too bassy
Shallow fit, only average comfort; not for workouts
Calls just okay, keyboard noise gets through
Recessed mids and sharp S sounds before tuning
No wings, so not for sport
Only splash-proof

SoundGuysOct 2023

A strong budget ANC pick for its mix of noise cancelling, battery and price; punchy bass suits pop, less so the gym. Tested global version.
Tech AdvisorAug 2023

Everyday earbuds with excellent sound and battery plus handy software at a low price; not for sport. Tested global version.
Pickr2023

Well worth a look for budget noise-cancelling earbuds: balanced sound, decent ANC and a polished app. Tested Australian version.
ReviewedJun 2023

Sets a new bar for earbuds under $100, with clearly better ANC and battery than the Liberty 4; fit is the weak point. Tested US version.
