Each part is measured the same way for every model (from specs and lab test measurements where they exist) and moves up or down with what reviewers praise or criticise.

Pros

  • Very good ANC, especially on low rumble
  • Over 47 h with ANC in their test; 10 min gives almost 6 h
  • Roomy, plush pads and low weight
  • Clear calls
  • Rock-solid connection, low enough latency
  • About 40 h with ANC in their test
  • Light with a secure clamp

Cons

  • Warm, bass-heavy sound; dull vocals and so-so detail
  • Bloated app set-up
  • No folding, no case
  • No auto-pause
  • Bass-heavy, congested vocals by default
  • ANC only average (about 20 dB)
  • Plasticky build, warm sticky pads
  • GSMArenaApr 2023

A new value benchmark for travel: a lighter, cheaper XM5 with weaker tuning and ANC but better comfort and battery. Tested global version.

  • SoundGuysSep 2023

A solid mid-tier way to get ANC without flagship money; good battery and comfort, but the tuning needs EQ and the build feels cheap.

  • Man's World IndiaMay 2023

Easy to recommend and among the best buys in its Indian price band. Indian review.
