Each part is rated on one scale for every earbud and headphone, from lab test measurements where they exist, what reviewers found, specs and owner reports. It rates the product itself, not how good it is for the price.

Pros

  • Virtual 7.1 gives usable direction cues in shooters
  • Sound stayed consistent over months of daily use
  • Handy physical volume, mute and light controls
  • Metal frame shrugged off drops; thick cable

Cons

  • Driver software is old, clumsy and hard to find
  • Mic is only fine for casual chat
  • Heavy frame; pad covering peels and gets uncomfortable after 5-6 h
  • USB plug is a weak point if yanked
  • ShubzAug 2023

A tough budget PC gaming headset whose virtual surround helps place footsteps; the software and comfort over long sessions are its weak spots. Used for about 8 months.
