Each part is measured the same way for every model (from specs and lab test measurements where they exist) and moves up or down with what reviewers praise or criticise.

Pros

  • Sturdy build with metal parts and a stylish look
  • Light with big soft cushions, comfortable for hours
  • Folds up for travel
  • Long battery for the segment (about 40 h in use with ANC off)
  • Pairs easily and holds a steady connection
  • Mic is about as good as rivals
  • Noise cancelling works well for the price

Cons

  • Sound is flat with boomy, shallow bass and little detail in vocals and treble
  • Distorts at around 70% volume
  • Noise cancelling is only average, weaker than pricier rivals
  • Battery falls well short of boAt's claim
  • No app or EQ
  • Mic quality is only average
  • Sound loses quality at very high volume
  • GeekmanFeb 2022

Looks and feels better than its price, but the dull, distorting sound makes it a pick only for boAt fans; ANC is just average.

  • Crazy Laptop LoversJul 2022

A recommended budget ANC headphone whose noise cancelling and long battery stand out; typical boAt bass-friendly sound.
