Each part is rated on one scale for every earbud and headphone, from lab test measurements where they exist, what reviewers found, specs and owner reports. It rates the product itself, not how good it is for the price.

Pros

  • Good studio-style sound, app EQ
  • Nearly 65 h in their battery test, quick top-ups
  • Fast Pair, multipoint, LDAC, wired jack, folds
  • Rounded tuning for casual and studio use, very low distortion
  • About 47 h measured at half volume
  • Clean app with 5-band EQ, sidetone, low-latency mode
  • Solid build, good range, multipoint and LDAC

Cons

  • No ANC; low rumble and traffic get through
  • Tight fit and warm pads
  • LDAC not always reliable
  • Mic only decent at blocking noise
  • Bass held back; bright upper range can fatigue
  • Firm clamp presses glasses
  • Calls weak in noise
  • SoundGuysApr 2025

An easy pick for most people wanting the M50x sound without wires, with huge battery life; fit and heat are the catches.

  • DigitSep 2023

Indian review: a worthy successor with rounded tuning and long battery; for everyday commuting a Sony/Sennheiser ANC set suits better.

  • What Hi-FiOct 2021

Highly recommended: strong, musical wireless sound that matches the cable.

  • Laptop MagApr 2022

A balanced, precise-sounding wireless studio set with long battery; calls and long-wear comfort disappoint.
